Genesee & Flint Chamber of Commerce is choosing local businesses at random to receive $1,000 to put towards expenses and if your name is picked, you also get $500. Artwork for the National Clean Water Collective campaign!

I wanted to convey the complex layers of the Flint water crisis, even the uncomfortable ones. I aimed to capture the chaotic nature of the crisis, the layers of government deception, the man made aspect of it, and the community that ended up taking the brunt of it all.

My hope is that the viewer has a deep engagement with the piece and sees the strength of our community but also that something as simple as clean water is an absolute necessity for all.
