I wasn't going to jump on the bandwagon and post about Rihannas's Super Bowl performance but these facts are too good to be true. 🤦🏾

Almost a week later and social media is still abuzz about the Rihanna halftime show. You can't scroll sideways without seeing the now iconic pic with her in the all-red ensemble.

Rihanna took influencer marketing to a different level - from the announcement with just her holding the NFL football in September 2022 to the video with her story shot here in Barbados earlier this month - she worked this collaboration like a dream. She may not have been paid for the Super Bowl but she will be PAIDDDD. 😄👇🏾

Influencer marketing, with the right influencer, can be a greater addition to your digital marketing plan.

With more than 118.7 million viewers for the halftime show (more than the Super Bowl itself) Google searches for Fenty Beauty increased by 883%, according to Cosmetics Business. Searches for ‘is Fenty safe for pregnancy’ also surged 3,333%.

Her streams increased by 640% and 331% on Spotify and Apple respectively. The brands she wore - the jacket, the sneakers - all had millions of dollars in media impact value in just 12 hours. Her social media numbers on Instagram jumped by over 2M in 24 hours.

The numbers boggle this digital marketer's mind. 🤯🤯🤯

This Rihanna reign just won't let up.

⚡SAVE THIS POST FOR LATER⚡Seems there is a day to celebrate just about anything these days. But is this a bad thing? Not in my book. 😊These days can be valuable additions to your content calendar or fun ways to connect with your fans and followers.

I love to have fun with special days in stories on client accounts. Unless it's a very important and globally celebrated day like World Environment Day on June 5th which will show up on feed posts or reels.

I hope you can find a few to add to your content plan this month.
