Does your business have a website? Probably. But does your website actually serve a purpose? If you're not receiving a minimum of 10-20 leads per month (depending on your industry of course) something is wrong.

When I first created my website for my landscaping company, about 5 years ago, there was something I knew I needed...

1. That was TRAFFIC. Without traffic there is no point in a website. Here are some quick and easy tips to boost your traffic...

- Create/set up your Google My Business page
- Engage on social media and popular forums (tell people about your site!!)

There are some other long terms strategies like blog posts, videos, and link building but that is for another discussion!

Once I figured out how to get traffic I became obsessed with watching the Google Analytics. But I began to notice that NO ONE was filling out a form.

I later learned it was because my website SUCKED. There was no clear point of my website and it took 3 or 4 clicks to get to a contact page.

I made some changes and began to see crazy results! Tons of leads each month. You can go check that site out at buff.ly/2zUXNgv. Yep, it's still ugly (I haven't updated it in 4 years so this doesn't portray my current design/development skills... I'm much better now I promise) but it gets results!

2. So second, you must CONVERT that traffic into leads. A bunch of traffic with no leads is also pointless. Here's how you do that:

- Make it OBVIOUS what you want the visitor to do... fill out a form? Sign up for an email list? Call you? etc.
- Create a website that is easy to navigate and FAST
