Why the Keywords are important in a Campaign?
Defining keywords correctly is essential for your business to have more chances of success on the internet. For example, a person searches for the following keyword on Google, “digital marketing advice” and then on the first page the most relevant results for that search appear.
Therefore, the chances of the person clicking on the options that appear at the beginning are greater, also increasing the chance of closing a deal.
The role of keywords is related to search engines, as they are the ones that activate the display of search results. Keyword planning then identifies which terms the user usually uses in the search engine. From them, the company can define the blog's guidelines - which is essential in content marketing - and work on these terms within the pages. Thus, with good planning the company produces relevant content for the public and is more likely to appear in your search, gaining traffic to the blog and the website. But it is not only in organic results that keywords matter. The sponsored links depend on them too, as you need to choose terms that generate the desired conversions in the campaign and are cost-effective.
There are several different places where you should use your keywords, such as:
Site Title
Site Description
Headings and subtitles
Site content
Internal and external links
Image descriptions
For each of these elements there are some specific rules in terms of the quantity and the correct place to use the keywords, but the most important factor to keep in mind when using them is that they need to appear on your website NATURALLY. The search engines are very good at noticing when you are abusing keywords (exaggerating the amount, for example), and you will end up being penalized for them.
