Reading as resistance—Our good friends at JCI Womandaue and Lost Books Cebu just launched the Stories on Wheels Library, and we couldn't be happier to be part of this movement in 2026!

With the overwhelming illiteracy rate in the Philippines, collaborative and agile reading spaces like Stories on Wheels, which will travel around Cebu to disaster-hit and rural communities, are impactful citizen-led contributions to reclaim the pleasure and power of the written word.

On our part, we were fortunate to develop the brand name and identity for this project, drawing inspiration from illustrations from old storybooks to create the key visuals.

The end of year always seems like a sprint to the finish line, so it helps to prepare the holiday cheer and materials months before. These customized illustrations for ’s holiday boxes are just the right touch of Christmas joy. 🎁🎄

For anyone who has ever worked with packaging, there’s always the back and forth to get the right hues—the greens, the golds, the brand’s signature maroon. They make such a difference when you capture them exactly as you imagined them.

Rooted in the spirit of quiet exploration, the brand was shaped through intentional design — from a name that invites curiosity to a visual identity system that balances Seoul sleek with island ease.

This year, we celebrate a significant milestone in our co-founder Joy Carpio's learning journey. After leaving her undergraduate program in her early 20s to pursue better opportunities in Kuwait, she returned to university almost 20 years later to finish what she started.

Here's to those who continue to strive for better at whatever age and stage. As Joy says, "Do it later. Do it scared," but "Do it for you."

When the Ong family of Cebu Cardinal Bakeshop approached us in 2024, we knew right away they had one of those rare brands that already had heart. It just needed consistent visuals to hold it.

We listened to their startup stories of starting small—how selling just two of their iconic chiffon cakes on the street was already a win—and it was clear: this wasn’t just a business; it was a legacy kneaded into every bread, every crumb, every slow Sunday morning memory on someone's table. It was a cardinal rule that everything had to be "Baked with Pride."

What followed was months of deep listening, thoughtful back-and-forths, and the creative push-pull that only happens when both sides are equally invested.

Together, we sifted through stories, traditions, and textures, shaping a brand that felt not only beautiful but also true. Anchored in warmth, guided by emotion, and designed to feel like classic home baking.

The result? A brand that doesn't shout but gently holds you, the way only someone who cares about their craft can.

As part of the creative service industry, churning ideas and content on commission, it’s not uncommon for burnout, fatigue, and anxiety to set in. That’s why one of the things we’ve proudly systemized last year is a wellness session every month. This could be in the form of catchups, talks, exposure tours, games, novel experiences, and the like.

Does it work? Yes. We’ve had better rapport, more honest communication, and an easy back-and-forth in the work dynamic since.

A safe harbour from your hunger. For over 70 years this is what this heritage brand has been offering Visayas and Mindanao with its time-honored steamed fried rice and dimsum. With over 20 classic heirloom dishes meant for sharing, Harbour City is finally ready to reopen several refreshed branches.

Our collaboration with the Harbour City Group has been a fulfilling nine-month run. We simplified the icon’s junkboat and created brand differentiators across the designed touchpoints. The goal is for friends to discover HongKong through dimsum.
