You have 500 five star reviews. That should be enough to keep you at the top of Google Maps forever, right?
Actually, it is not. Josh and Lucy were chatting about this earlier, and it is a trap we see local businesses fall into all the time.
Google does not just look at how many reviews you have. It looks at how recently you got them. A business with 50 reviews from the last month will often outrank a business with 500 reviews from three years ago.
Freshness tells Google you are still active, still reliable, and still doing a great job right now. If your last review was from 2022, Google starts to wonder if you are even still in business.
That is why we focus on helping you get a steady stream of new reviews every single week. It is about consistency over quantity. We keep things simple and automated so you can stay at the top without having to think about it.
We are a small team at Fruitbowl Studio, and we make sure your reputation stays fresh while you focus on your work.
