A good first month for one of our e-Commerce clients.

Total spend: €675.79
Conversion value: €2,706.10
Return on ad spend: 207%

The client already had some data in the form of purchases when we started working together. This way we could build him a lookalike audience.

Lookalike Audience:
(Facebook will take your group of people who purchased, and will find more people like them.)

We used this to our benefit because we knew that the people in our Lookalike audience were also interested in our product.

This is something that people sometimes forget to include in their campaigns.

Usually one of our top-performing ad sets.

What does top of funnel really mean? 🤔

The term ‘top of funnel content’ is quickly joining the marketing hall of fame as one of the most used (and overused) marketing buzzwords of all time.

But do you know what top of the funnel content really is? Hint: It’s not just blog posts that are vaguely related to your business.

Let’s break down the concept: Take, for example, an article titled “What is Average Order Value (AOV)”. If a user stumbles across a post about defining AOV, they’re probably interested in e-commerce. But does that really tell you anything about their intentions?

But let’s say, instead, a user comes across a post called “Five Ways to Increase AOV”.

You’ve now got a user with a need – not only are they interested in e-commerce, but they’re also interested in e-commerce and they want to increase AOV. There’s a big difference between these two examples.

The first is pre-funnel content, and the second is top of funnel content.

Why? If a user is reading a broad post about a topic, it might tell you about their interests – but it doesn’t tell you much about their intentions. And, to create great top of funnel content, you need to have some insight into the intentions of your user.

This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t create that sweet, sweet pre-funnel content, though. Just make sure you’ve got some top of funnel content to go along with it.

Why McDonald's' Marketing strategy works so well. 🍟

We all know McDonald's is a successful global brand, so unlike its menu, I'll keep it light.

While keeping its overarching branding consistent, McDonald's practices "glocal" marketing efforts.

No, that's not a typo.

McDonald's brings a local flavor, literally, to different countries with region-specific menu items.

In 2003, McDonald's introduced the McArabia, a flatbread sandwich, to its restaurants in the Middle East.

McDonald's has also introduced macaroons to its French menu

And added McSpaghetti to its menu in the Philippine

But what am I trying to tell you with all of this?

Try your adjust your marketing efforts to your target audience. (And their culture!)

But how do you know what works?

Born in the 1930s, there was a Dutch psychologist called Geert Hofstede.

Maybe you’ve heard of him before, but he researched cultural dimensions.

Through his knowledge, you can know better understand different cultures and how to target them best!

Here is the link to his website for you to compare cultural dimensions👇🏼
