A lovely shop in Padiham aimed at reducing plastic waste. You can buy packaging free treats and also refill your foods, household products and loads more! They also have a shop in Great Harwood and at Huntleys on the A59. 🐝

My boy has just been dropped off for his first day of school which means... I can actually work properly without distractions again! I have so many local businesses waiting on design work from me, I’m very lucky! Please bear with I’ll be working as fast as I can to get through it all. Thank you for the patience over the last few months 💘

Working from home with a 4 year old in tow for the last 5/6 months has been so hard...Feels like we’re coming out of the other side of it now! ☀️

First post since December and it’s not overly positive...😬

To spend the time familiarising yourself with someone’s brand, then putting time and effort into design work for them to turn round and decide not to pay is so disappointing.

“It hasn’t actually cost you anything”

This couldn’t be more wrong. Just because I don’t sell products or goods, doesn’t mean my time doesn’t cost me. Time I spent on wasted projects could have been spent with clients who actually want to pay. You especially don’t expect this from fellow self employed people, we should be supporting eachother.

It’s disheartening and I’m getting a little fed up if I’m honest. I may have to start taking deposits for one-off design work but need to have a proper think. I’m aware people don’t always like paying for things they haven’t had yet, especially with someone they may not have met and that’s fine. I’ll hopefully come up with a solution that suits both me and my customer.
