What an exciting leap forward in school safety for the Timmerman School and the community of Forest Acres, SC! The Timmerman School hosted a ribbon cutting event today to celebrate a partnership with BarricAid Tech Group (“BTG”) and the launch of an initial phase of installation for new safety equipment in a first-ever pilot program of its kind in the state of South Carolina. Timmerman and BTG believe that every child matters and deserves to go to school knowing their school campus is safe. In an active shooter scenario every second counts, and the BTG smart lock system secures doors and contacts first responders quicker than any other system currently on the market.

We hope Timmerman has a great first day tomorrow knowing school safety is a top priority! Thank you ABC Columbia for helping us spread the word about this revolutionary school safety product that can save lives!

In the event of gunshot, the system automatically locks down the entire school on its own.
