SolveIT Software is seeking a competent and experienced individual to take up a role as a Software Tester, responsible for the testing the software applications.
Main responsibilities include:
- Preparation of test estimates.
- Preparation of system test plans.
- Creation of new test cases.
- Ex*****on of manual and automated test cases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review requirement and design documents to ensure their testability.
- Prepare written testing documentation (including test requirements, test strategies and plans, test cases, test reports)
- Perform functional and regression testing (including development of test data, defect management, impact assessments of proposed software changes).
- Contribute to continuous improvement of software testing methodologies, standards, procedures and tools.
Qualifications/requirements:
The ideal applicant will be someone who can:
- Demonstrate ability to analyze software requirements, issues and risks to develop integrated software system test strategies, plans and test cases, and test data.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of various softwaretesting methods.
- Advanced written and oral skills in the English language.
- Experience with MS SQL Server highly desirable.
- Experience with Java Programming language desirable.
Technical Evaluation:
In addition to an interview, as part of the recruitment process, candidates will be required to participate in a two-part technical evaluation focusing on the following points:
1. Assessment of the candidate's problem solving skills.
2. Assessment of the candidate's documentation skills.
