Face to Face classes in all levels, both private and public educational institutions in Benguet and Baguio City, are suspended today September 04, 2026 FRIDAY due to continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon.

Schools shall implement alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures.

​📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY: WORK AND CLASS SUSPENSION
​Based on Memorandum Circular No. 132 issued by the Office of the President on August 28, 2026, please be advised of the following updates regarding work and classes in the province of Benguet (including Baguio City):

​What is suspended: Work in government offices and classes at all levels in both public and private schools are suspended.

​When: Effective immediately, as of 1:00 PM today, August 28, 2026.

​Why: This is due to the anticipated further enhancement of the Southwest Monsoon by a Low-Pressure Area.

​Government Exemptions: Agencies involved in basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, or other vital services will continue their operations and render necessary services.

​Private Sector Employees: The suspension of work or the adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector is left entirely to the discretion of management.

​Please stay safe, dry, and vigilant!

Schools are encouraged to implement the following alternative delivery modes to ensure learning continuity;
a. Modular Distance Learning
b. Online Distance Learning
c. Blended Learning.

*The number coding scheme for vehicles is likewise suspended.
