Last year I had the wonderful privilege of working with the ladies over at on their rebrand. Motherhood, community and sustainability is what’s at their very heart - go give them a follow for the most thoughtfully curated motherhood content. 🤍

This festive season may look very different for so many of us, but here’s to celebrating that we made it through this year. Let’s be a little kinder to each other (and ourselves), more considerate and more grateful for all that we do have. In a year that has ‘cancelled’ so much, I hope we have come to appreciate all that we do have right at this very moment.

As I wrap up in the studio for 2020, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for this past year. It may have looked a heck of a lot different than any of us anticipated, but above all else it sure did come with its blessings. And I’d like to choose to focus on those — I’ve had a steady (over)flow of clients all year since going full-time, I’m in good health and so is my family, and best of all we’re expecting our little boy in March next year. ✨

I’ve learnt so much and overcome many hurdles this year - from boundary-setting and creating structure to being gentle with myself. I went from full-energy to completely fatigued (I guess growing a human is quite a big deal?) and had to prioritize my energy away from social media and other things while I continued running my business in the background. So I guess what I’m saying is that things may have looked a little different for you this year, but you are never alone and have to remember to give yourself grace for the season you are in. ✨

I’m looking forward to taking a little break to decompress (spending time with all my boys - my wonderful husband, two doggies, and the boy growing in my belly!) over the festive season. I’ll prob finally get some time and energy to update my portfolio on here — or not, who knows. 😂
I’ll be back in Jan and Feb to continue with my booked in projects before we welcome our little boy into the world. 💫

Thank you a million times over to all who have supported my business and made my first year of going full-time such a dream come true X

Say hello to the new look for 👋🏼

May came to me with such a clear vision for her strategy and meaning behind her brand which always gets me excited as it forms the best foundation for great, lasting design.

We incorporated the idea of a balance beam between the M and the Y - representing ‘me’ balancing ‘you’. We kept things super simple to bring across the messaging of how May simplifies the process of nutrition and the steps to leading a healthy lifestyle with her clients.

So, yes, this branding showcase may be SUPER delayed (expect a few more coming up) but I still love it just as much as when we wrapped it up! The lovely (and I mean LOVELY - she is such a gem) came to me looking for a refreshed brand identity to match her new business transformation.

With connection at the very heart of BYWATER, their mission as photographers is to foster connection through emotionally powerful and authentic story-telling. The same way Cheyenne feels at home near the water, so too does she want her clients to feel this same sense of ease, belonging and comfort through their experience of working with her. We worked to incorporate this sense of connection and nostalgia into her brand identity.
