"The Audience Network shows people the right ads by extending Facebook’s targeting to third-party apps. This means the ads match the interests of people, just as they do on Facebook. It also means people are more likely to engage with the ads.

Facebook's 1.5 million advertisers can now extend their Facebook campaigns to the Audience Network with just one click. This gives our publishers and developers access to a huge pool of demand that includes many of the best brands that advertise on Facebook. It also means people see ads from the brands they care about." -- Facebook

“You don't want to make conclusions based on a small sample size. Go for at least 250 conversions per variation. It'll be more accurate if it’s 350-400 conversions per variation. And if you want to segment results, you need thousands of conversions per variation in order to have 350+ conversions per variation within a segment.” - Peep Laja of Conversion XL

"for close to half of the units sold on Amazon.com, Amazon does not set the price, it just takes a margin. This alone should point to the weakness of the idea that Amazon’s growth is based on selling at cost or at a loss."

Amazon has a tendency to polarize people. On one hand, there is the ruthless, relentless, ferociously efficient company that’s building the Sears Roebuck of the 21st Century. But on the other, there is the fact that almost 20 years after it was launched, it has yet to report a meaningful profit. Thi…

Facebook announced today that it "adjusted the way users see articles on its site to reduce what it called “click bait” — items that tempt readers with a beguiling headline, but don’t deliver much more."

"Facebook says its algorithm will now consider how long users spend reading an article as a way of judging the importance. The company will also examine how many users discuss or share an article."

The company says it adjusted the algorithm that ranks news items to divert attention from articles that tempt readers with a headline, but offer little more.
