Just finished this mural of a magic flying carpet! The mural is painted over an extra door that the owner wanted to hide, and also adds a fun element to his storefront!

Logo of the week!

Backstory: This customer, a life coach and executive coach, wanted to integrate many varied elements into her logo. It needed to look strong and professional, but also a bit feminine. She liked the idea of having a hidden yin yang symbol, and a hidden allusion to the fact that she was a pilot. She also wanted the "SC" element of the logo to be able to be used separately as its own entity. This is what I came up with - it satisfied all of her requests and still looks good! :)

Logo of the week!

Backstory: A good friend was going to Nepal several years ago to climb Ama Dablam, a 22,349 ft peak in the Himalayas. To boost his team's enthusiasm he commissioned me to design a logo for the entire team to sew onto their jackets as embroidered patches. The trip was a huge success, I'm sure in part because of their beautiful patches! :)

Logo of the week!

Backstory: A customer had created a round orange bluetooth speaker, and asked me to jump through several hoops to create a name, logo, and finalized package dieline for the product, all within 48 hours. I chose SoniBall for the name and designed a playful yet serious logo for the product. Since the speaker was often used with cell phones I created a lifelike phone-shaped box for it, so the speaker appeared to be sticking onto the outside of a phone, when in reality it was locked securely into its package.

Logo of the week!

Backstory: My client had perfected an amazing garlic oil that he was ready to sell to the general public, and wanted to bring the special "look" to life that he and his partner had dreamed up. He loved the idea of a happy garlic dancing towards his audience, and had named his brand "Look Out Here I Come". I created a happy go lucky garlic character based on his description, to dance their brand forward to success!

Logo of the week!

Backstory: A good friend had been working for years on perfecting her line of organic beauty products, and the time had arrived to present them to the public! We brainstormed together on how she wanted the products to appear on the shelves, and the feeling she wanted the graphics to convey. This logo is the result of those brainstorming sessions - soft and natural but also very professional, so you can feel confident that her products are of the highest quality!

Logo of the week!

Backstory: A talented Korean chef had a vendor stall reserved at the weekly farmer's market, and a great idea for a logo, but the designer she'd hired couldn't create the logo she wanted. He insisted that his ideas were much better and tried his best to convince her to use one of his designs instead. Exasperated and nervous about how soon the market would be opening, she came to me with her idea and asked if I could create it for her. After a short meeting where we discussed it in detail, this is the logo I came up with - and she loves it!! :)

Logo of the week!

Backstory: A local photographer wanted a new look for his brand, something more professional than he was currently using that would describe his business as being more versatile than just a photo studio. He wanted me to come up with a fresh, modern look - these are a few of my favorites from the concepts I presented to him. I always work in black and white first so colors don't distract people from choosing the best design. Which design would YOU choose? :)
