In 2020 I was asked to create a film for the Congo Falls Adventure Golf Course in Bristol. And this year I was asked to produce a refreshed version, to show all the developments from the last six years. Luckily we had beautiful weather and some willing, adventurous golfers!
In both films all the great aerial footage was produced by Philippe at Bristol Drones.

I've posted before to say that I am now planning to offer wedding videos alongside my corporate film work. With the new year now well under way I thought this might be a good time to post a little highlights film of the weddings I have filmed so far which also shows what can be covered on the day. As I need to build examples to show on my wedding films website (WIP) I am offering a 50% discount to any weddings filmed before the end of April this year. Last month I was in Buxton filming how drones can be used for mountain rescue as part of the Drone Pathfinder Catalyst Programme for Connected Places Catapult. The weather was perfect for showcasing the Sky Mantis drone that is capable for flying in heavy rain and 75 km/hr winds. Not so perfect for my camera, or indeed myself. I think it’s fair to say I earned my money that day! But another example of how drones can be used in really innovative and effective ways.

Connected Places Catapult partnered with Buxton Mountain Rescue and Evolve Dynamics to demonstrate how drones can be beneficial to rescue efforts.

For the last 10 months I have been working with Connected Places catapult to create a series of case study films for the Drone Pathfinder Catalyst Programme. These films highlight how the UK has the opportunity to become a world leader in the use of commercial drones. Over the next couple of days I will post some of these films; starting with the innovative ways that drones can be used to help monitor coastal erosion.
