I’m raising money to cover my derby travel and photography expenses and eventually buy a new (or used) lens!

Moving back to California from Georgia was the right decision given the political climate, but was rough on me financially. And although I had good health insurance (for a little while) there was still a stupid amount in medical bills that insurance would not cover.

But still, we persist. I wanna keep doing derby cause it makes me happy. And I want to keep giving back to the community but if I want to go shoot a game, I spend between $50 and $120 (depending on model availability and where I need to rent from) just to rent a zoom lens for the weekend. A new lens would cost $1600 🫪

Listen, I’m not good with words and I’m even worse at asking for help. Sports photography is a male dominated field and there are a lot of dude photogs in derby. Queer/nonbinary/female photographers in roller derby are few and far between. You should help one out. 💜

Stickers will be available in person for a $5-$15 sliding scale. I’ll be a photographer at NA West WFTDA Regionals this weekend. Afterwards, I’ll have them available for shipping or pick up while supplies last!
