today june 8, 2026 - CCRIDGE as yesterday's attempt to DO our bee duty was thwarted by a BLOCKED GATE - a CAR had intentionally parked sideways entirely BLOCKING the gate and just imagine IF there had been a fire - oooops! THAT car would have been pushed OVER the hillside. (rightfully so too). Today we were there to CHECK the WATER / the FENCE / OPEN all hives to check on food and brood etc... / CLEAR a bit of brush here and there.. we added several supers and one 'housing box' to give more room to the growing colony. IN short > we felt OK that the ladies were DOING.. but we DO NEED the BLOOM. Sooooo START YOUR DANCE, folks - shouting and chanting for the BLOOM BLOOM BLOOM.... yeah !

Hello 🙂 we buy honey from you. I’m curious if you do tours for kids ? Thank you.

we responded> unfortunately the bees are not very 'sympa' as they can be very nasty and therefore NO. NO tours.. that is why we suggest the fb page to see the bees while we interact. years ago '60-thur 2000 they were quite delightful but now.. too many are africanized (territorial) and can get VERY VERY nasty. some days we simply say "not today" and leave to come back another day. but thank you for asking.
