I’ve just finished a very positive first networking meeting with Morning Abergavenny. It felt great to meet friendly, like minded people who are running small businesses in the town and surrounding areas. Making Lemonade.

I'm feeling very lucky to have been given the opportunity to work with Steph Cutler on her new website. Steph worked with fashion labels such as Ted Baker and M&S before a disability came into her life which left her partially sighted. She set up the consultancy, Making Lemonade and became an advocate of disability issues and a champion or diversity and inclusion.

The brief was to create a website that embraces Steph's creativity and passion for colour and design. The website also needs to be sensitive to users with disabilities such as dyslexia and visual impairment considering colours, contrast, typeface, point size and usability. This project has made me think about future designs I may work on and I hope to be more mindful and supportive of issues like this.
