“I was contacted by an artist rep who works with and matches artists whose artwork represents their demographic and stylistic vision. The first mural I designed for them was for a store in San Antonio, so when they asked me about the store in El Paso I was really excited.”

“The client wanted to feature the Ysleta mission because of its historical significance and its impact on the community.”

“After the El Paso store, I designed another mural for San Antonio, and I am currently working on a design for a store in downtown Burlington, NC.”

“My advice to future artists is to make work that speaks to you and feels meaningful. It may take a while, but people will connect with your work, and opportunities will come. Also, connect with other artists and try to build those friendships. There is room at the table for everyone, and you’d be surprised just how many more opportunities and how much support you can get from people who understand exactly where you’re at.”
