Nikki - Hey guys! I’m a 43 year old female & have recently had some health issues. I was hemorrhaging from 4/1-5/21. Ultrasound showed cysts on ovaries & thick endometrial wall, anything measuring 20mm & they start looking for cancer, I was measuring 21. So they took a biopsy- NO CANCER!!! But I had a two week wait on those results and In between that time started realizing how poor my health was. I was diagnosed with PCOS - My dr put me on hormones to stop my bleeding - So, I am on HRT. She also gave me 3 trial Ozempic pens! I’ve been on Ozempic, this week is my 4th week. Since 4/1 I’ve lost 19lbs - I’m sure some of that was due to hemorrhaging. Either way, I’ll take it… The end of March I weighed in at 299lbs - I have high blood pressure. It’s literally been high this whole past year and I’m on blood pressure medicine. Since beginning the Ozempic, even my blood pressure has dropped it was great last week at the doctors office. So, I’m not sure if I’ll even be able to continue Ozempic because technically my insurance doesn’t cover me on it. My A1C is 115 - which is the very beginning of pre diabetes. I’ve never taken a compound before but I’m like 1,000% sure that’s the route I’ll be taking bc of insurance. My question is, with the 30mg Tirzepatide - Like, how long would that last me? I’ve taken .25 Ozempic for 3 weeks and just upped my dosage to .50 yesterday. I’ll definitely be at 1mg before I finish my pens. So if I come off that & I buy the 30mg - Where would I start with that & about how long would that last me? 😊
