Mike Nicholls is the second artist in our PHNX Artist Interview Series! He is the Publisher and Creative Director of Umber Magazine as well as an artist, illustrator, designer, and music maker!

We first met Mike at an AIGA San Francisco design panel on diversity and were struck by his thoughtfulness, persistence, and courage. Since then, we've had the opportunity to get to know him a little better. He's a beautiful soul and a joy to be around.
