Fiftyone Pop-up art gallery, currently running at Bread & Butter in Cremorne, NSW. Featuring emerging and established artists alongside live music, fun and booze!!!

fiftyone is an art based social night held in venues across Sydney. We are a collective of local creatives who come together to make art and have some good old fashioned fun. We curate pop-up galleries featuring the best up and coming artists in the area, and we have an online gallery selling prints and merchandise. fiftyone began in 2012 with its first 'art-after-hours' night at the Pony Room in

Manly. It was a drunken affair; 4 up and coming artists had the chance to show off their work, we drew on the tables, talked sh*t and sold prints. Since then the nights have really taken of. The premise is simple enough, we come up with a theme, get some artists in to exhibit their work in a bar, they invite their friends, you invite yours and we all have a good time. We've had art-offs, we've had a mariachi band, we've had Mexican Wrestler life drawing, an art auction and we even painted zombies on a van for the Manly arts festival.

CHARITY ART AUCTION!
A few years back the insanely talented Jimi May donated this artwork to our fiftyone charity auction.

Its back up for sale again, and once again all proceeds will go to charity. We are raising money for International Animal Rescue to help save Orangutans in Borneo.

Today fiftyone must say a very sad goodbye to Tj Ferdinands. TJ passed away last night after a long battle with cancer, and our thoughts are now with his family and close friends. TJ (in the left of this picture) was an amazing photographer who exhibited at one of our first shows, back at the Pony Room in Manly. On that night he sold a photograph which was the first piece he'd ever sold, and it was amazing to see how happy that made him. He was an incredible person, to see someone so positive after the hardships he had faced growing up was simply inspiring. You will be missed TJ. Rest in peace.
