Dateline 1966: Friedel Münch unveils his Mammut motorcycle, marrying a 996cc NSU Prinz four-cylinder car engine to a bespoke chassis and distinctive cast Elektron rear wheel.

“Incredible!” “A behemoth!” “It has a car engine!” Exclamations of shock and awe abounded when we first encountered the Münch TT.
Touted as the fastest, most powerful and most expensive motorcycle of its time, it had the motorcycle press (and drooling teenage motorcycle magazine readers like me) utterly captivated.

I still remember the TWO Wheels bit.

2026: 1000cc? Oh ... Sportbike.

Latest Kiwi Rider Magazine is up.

I don't have anything in this one, apart from Art & Design.

But I did read the bits on the ADV bikes as they hit the page, the Chinese bike looks real. Which takes me a bit to get my head around.

The Euro site for the LiveWire 1 Electric bike now shows it at $25k Australian Money.

It's a shame they didn't first land at that price.

Right sizing or death knell? Don't know - hope it's the former.

As I've maintained all along - this could not be a bike for the Main side of the shed.

But for the Other side - they are *really* good fun. 100% torque all the time and fill it up off your roof.
