From small-businesses to corporations, think of Sharp Editorial (SE) as your on-call editorial branch, available whenever you need services. Professors, administration, teachers, and students, leave your dissertation, essays,

lesson plans, and project editing with Sharp Editorial, too! SE certainly has not forgotten about authors, web designers, bloggers, or anyone with a pen, either; Sharp Editorial will help clients gear up for publishing their work by producing clean and accurate manuscripts while facilitating clarity and readability with editing services true to client voice, character, and tone. Regardless of personal or professional goals, quality matters! Therefore, your masterpiece needs to be as sharp as it could possibly be, sans errors and oversights. Even the most talented, intelligent writers and businessmen & women make occasional mistakes, but Sharp Editorial is here to improve and enhance the clients’ body of work before reaching the public. While SE is sharply focused on client needs, Sharp Editorial also serves as a platform for the “Sloan Saves the Day” series. Sharp Editorial is more than a company; it’s a brand; an embodiment of art, work, skill, and upcoming projects.

Watching clients step into the roles they’ve worked for never gets old. It’s a privilege we’ve shared with more than 3,000 resume clients.

Congratulations are in order for Kelly Dearwester, Fulton Bank’s newest Chief Data and Analytics Officer. They are tasking the 20-year veteran with leading enterprise data strategy, governance, and analytics across the $30 billion Pennsylvania-based bank’s retail, commercial, and wealth management operations.

Dearwester steps into the role after serving as inaugural Chief Data Officer at Old National Bank, where he orchestrated a comprehensive data transformation spanning 200+ applications while supporting 4,500 employees through three major M&A cycles, delivering record EPS growth in the process.

Well earned, Kelly!

- You don’t need another website that doesn’t convert.
- You don’t need another resume that diminishes your authority.

If 2026 is the year you stop underselling yourself, this is the moment.

👉🏼 Yes, deadlines are important. And yes, contracts have expiration dates. But between sticking to your writing schedule and finding the will to write when you really want to do a million other things, can you also show yourself grace?
✨ You’re using brainpower, creativity, and imagination. That can be tiresome. So, take breaks. Rest. Recharge.
📝 You (and your manuscript) will be better because of it.

We hear this word often, especially on social media.

“This serum literally changed my face overnight.”
“That workout literally killed me.”
“I’m literally obsessed with this iced coffee.”
“This line is literally a thousand miles long.”

The problem is that none of these statements are actually literal! They’re feelings, not things happening in a literal way. Use “literally” only when what you’re describing is happening in a real, factual, and exact way.

Most people don’t realize how often “literally” makes them sound less articulate. It adds nothing. If anything, using “literally” weakens your point. It has basically become the new “um” (a linguistic reflex).

If everything is “literally insane,” “literally adorable,” or “literally the best ever,” nothing you say has the impact you think it does.

Let 2026 be the year you speak with intention!

We hear this word often, especially on social media.

“This serum literally changed my face overnight.”
“I’m literally dying at this joke.”

Most people don’t realize how often “literally” makes them sound less articulate (and a little clueless).
