For those of you with little ones and if you’re trying to explain 9/11 to them. This is only part of a Pre-k - 1 lesson that focused on bravery. We used Joshua 1:9 and our bible adventures story of the brave queen. We explored emotion and feelings (sad, mad, and scared). Then tied it to our 9/11 lesson that focused on heroes. I also explained how 911 stands for an emergency. I had kids also identify other heroes in our lives such as soldiers. Last but not least, we followed it up with how kids can be heroes by helping showing kindness, and more. It was a hit! I hope the ideas and my video help your littles too.

This video is a 9/11 educational video intended for k-3 grades. It touches on the basics of the 9/11 events as well as focuses on the Heroes of that day.
