How do I gain trust from potential clients? The Process.
Internally at Mango, we constantly dial in the fact that good builders content is about People, Process, Product.
Every builder and trade is good at Product, it's not hard to get in at Handover and take a few snaps on the phone but that ain't what your clients are paying for.
They are paying you for the end result, yes, but they are really paying you from the day that contract is signed, to the handover day, and to be able to use your expertise between.
Builders & trades often forget, in their marketing at least, that they are a product+service industry. The service is what creates fans, builds trust. At this stage, I'd argue it would be more beneficial to your brand to document the HOW you got a result, rather than just the result.
This is a masterclass from Sammy at BBH. This is an off the cuff moment, captured on site, of him working out a finer detail with his crew about a project.
He knows what the client wants, what the client intends from this project, and we are seeing him in the thick of it working it out over a minor detail. If his client sees this, he is going to be so thrilled, potential clients are going to see how hard Sam goes to make sure THEIR vision is executed.
This is a best case of showing your process. If you show the service you offer, you are well on your way to creating a solid pipeline of work.
if you want content that actually wins work, builds trust with your potential clients so you can walk into rooms and NOT feel like you are doing a cold pitch. Get in touch. We have a link in our Bio where you can book in directly to speak with me, Ed, the owner of Mango to discuss your content and marketing needs.
