We’re TWO! 🎂✨ Technically, Yellow Zest turned two last month. But honestly? I was so bloody busy I didn’t even get a chance to officially mark the occasion!

May was a complete whirlwind. We might not have had a traditional birthday party, but we certainly celebrated by doing what we do best: moving at 100mph! Here is a little look at what went down while we were turning two:

- Came back from Brazil
- Officially joined the Belfast Promise.
- Welcome a new client .eu
- Attended the Mindcontrol marketing event.
- Celebrated Killian’s birthday and 11 years married
- Danced at the concert. EPIC
- Had a beautiful dinner at in Dublin (highly recommend it!)
- Covered recording at the last Apericena at and .harte
- Had lovely visits from multiple clients, including the wonderful .
- Briefly jumped into the East Belfast Economic Conference.
- Reached 1,000 followers on Instagram! 🎉
- Attended our first networking event as an official member of the
- Hosted another fab

So, while I didn’t get to mark the anniversary officially on the day, there were endless reasons to celebrate. Looking back at this list, I am blown away by how far Yellow Zest has come in just two years of business.
I want to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you who has supported us this far. I absolutely love what I do and I genuinely cannot wait for what’s next.

PROJECT RECAP → The Burnout Club ✨

When Nicola first approached us, The Burnout Club existed as a powerful idea with an incredibly important mission behind it and the brand and website needed to fully reflect the depth, professionalism and compassion of the work being delivered.

Our task was to create a brand identity and website that felt safe, clear, approachable and empowering while still communicating the seriousness of workplace burnout, conflict and emotional overwhelm.

The Burnout Club supports people navigating difficult workplace situations by offering emotional support, legal guidance and career pathways to help individuals regain confidence and move forward. It’s a service designed for people who feel stuck, exhausted, unsupported or unsure of what comes next.

Together, we developed:
• a complete visual identity and brand direction
• a professional and trustworthy online presence
• clear messaging and positioning
• a website structure focused on accessibility and clarity
• a digital experience designed to feel calm, supportive and human

This project meant a lot to us because services like this are genuinely needed. Burnout and workplace conflict affect so many people quietly behind the scenes and having access to informed, compassionate support can completely change somebody’s direction.

We are incredibly proud to have played a part in bringing Nicola’s vision to life. Nicola and her team are doing fantastic work supporting people through some really difficult moments with care, professionalism and practical support.

Sometimes it’s not a content problem, it’s a branding one 👀

We recently worked with a client who felt completely stuck creating content. But the real issue was that their website, socials and brand visuals no longer felt aligned.

From the heavy lifting on-site to the late-night editing sessions, content creation is a marathon, not a sprint. But honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way. We love what we do and have so much fun while working.

Many businesses think branding starts with a logo.

In reality it starts with questions.

What does this business really stand for?

Why does it matter?

What makes it different?

Until those answers are clear, design has very little direction.

We only start the drawing process after the groundwork is done. Every project HAS TO always begin with clarity.

Because when the thinking is clear, the design becomes far more powerful.

Branding is not decoration.

It is how a business explains itself to the world.

25 days of Brazil 🇧🇷

It’s been two weeks since I touched down in NI but my head is still full of the colors, sounds and textures of Brazil. I’m coming back with a massive amount of inspiration and some super cool ideas for our upcoming branding and web projects.
