I didn’t know I needed this — I thought I had to choose between a wagon or a stroller. I needed the size of a wagon, but wanted to keep the smooth ride of a stroller.

the .ca sproutV2 has checked all the boxes✅

you can use it as a single wagon or extend the chassis to fit two, which will be perfect for our kiddos!

from now until march 15th, you can use my code SPROUT-LINDSAY to save 40% 🎉🎉

her words, not mine! and the term “bad habit” really didn’t sit right with me.

also let’s be so for real right now. I would love to have a full night of sleep more than anyone, but my baby doesn’t take a pacifier. maybe she’s teething. maybe she’s sick. if nursing is the only thing that will comfort her when she’s in distress or not feeling well I’m obviously going to do that.

i’m always going to respond to her. My son took a pacifier and a bottle with no problem by play suck your baby has proven to be quite different from her brother.

having a pacifier rejection has been really difficult for us, and when nothing else is working in the middle of the night, you can bet your bottom dollar that I’m gonna whip out my b**b so that everybody can go back to sleep.

also she’s a 9 month old baby. do literal babies have “bad habits”?? like what would even be a bad habit for a baby?

have you ever had a dr comment something like this?

delusion: comes free with the purchase of a sewing machine

no, but actually, ever since I purchased my sewing machine I’ve had the most delusional amount of confidence. I’m starting my sewing journey with rifted fabrics, or my own used bedding.

I saw this as a hack and immediately thought it was brilliant. bedding gives so much fabric and it’s pretty easy to acquire. when I was most recently at the fabric store, I bought two very very small pieces and I couldn’t believe the price! I’ll definitely save the purchasing of nice and fancy fabrics until I am a little more talented.

so when I saw this lil cutie at the thrift store today, I immediately had a vision of a quilted jacket for my daughter. is it just delusion? probably yes. am I gonna try it anyway? also yes.

leave a comment of encouragement or if you have any recommendations for a pattern that would be manageable🤪🤪

I know winter has felt like an entire year already, so let’s spring into march with a little less clutter and a little less mental load

we can’t forget how much the visual clutter impacts our mental clutter. so here are 10 things to declutter or tidy before march

1. broken or incomplete toys
anything missing pieces, dead batteries, or that never actually gets played with. if it hasn’t been touched all month, that’s your sign.
2. outgrown baby items
check drawers and bins for anything jack has already sized out of or that you’re realistically done using.
3. the toy overflow zone
that one basket or corner where toys get tossed at the end of the day. reset it and remove anything that doesn’t belong.
4. random papers on the counter
school papers, receipts, instructions, appointment slips — toss or file what you actually need.
5. artwork pile
keep a few favorites, recycle the rest. you don’t need every scribble to keep the memory.
6. lonely puzzle pieces & game bits
if the set is gone or incomplete, it’s just visual noise now.
7. junk drawer surface layer
you don’t need to empty the whole thing — just remove obvious garbage, duplicates, and dead pens.
8. kids craft supplies that are dried out
markers without ink, crusty playdough, broken crayons — quick wins that make a big difference.
9. bags and boxes waiting to be dealt with
returns, donations, random shopping bags — either put them away or move them out.
10. the “i’ll decide later” pile
week 4 is about decisions. pick 5 things from that pile and decide: keep, toss, or donate.

I can learn to do a lot of things, I can learn to sew, I can learn how to make bread, I can learn how to play a game or a sport

I cannot learn how to rest or relax

I cannot rest or relax

instead of resting, I must try baking a brand new recipe (but also enough to share with the neighbors) or declutter, and rearrange the cupboard, or sew a pair of pants, or make a new piece of art for kids room or fold the laundry that I’ve been abandoning, or research what it takes to start a garden in the spring

you know?
