I know most advertisements can be boring. You ignore them when they show up on TV or in the media, right?! What is this advertisement (see picture) about? I have a funny experience with it. Read about it here: https://deafbluecats.com/kitty-talk/the-power-of-a-good-advertisement/

Some advertisements are very creative and memorable. I even remember some of them from 25+ years ago! Do you have a favorite ad? What was it about?

Have any of you ever played the Oregon Trail game back in the mid-1980s? I have! I remember spending countless hours on it. A brand new version of the game - more authentic and involves realistic details about the native Americans - has come out. I haven't tried it yet but it looks amazing! https://www.npr.org/2021/05/12/996007048/no-bows-and-arrows-and-no-broken-english-on-the-updated-oregon-trail —Tabby, who used to play a LOT of video games

A new version of the classic '80s video game Oregon Trail tries to represent the lives of Native Americans more accurately — no more braids or bows and arrows. But you can still die of dysentery.

Computer geek/nerd and history buffs love these types of pictures. This is a 1956 photo of an IBM 5MB hard drive being moved by at least 4 men. In comparison, today, 5TB (and higher) hard drives are available and can be carried by a child. 5TB = 1 million of the 5MB hard drive (5,000,000MB)! —Tabby the web geek
