Some of you might have experienced the glitch yesterday where you got a notification that your account was suspended! Your Pinterest account should be back up now as this seemed to have been a widespread glitch, but if it is not, it can be.
Here's what you should know about the glitch:
-It was a widespread glitch and affected multiple Pinterest profiles, so it was not your fault.
-Your account should be back up by now, but if it isn't, you can appeal the suspension to have it back up.
To do this, locate the suspension email that Pinterest sent you (this would have gone to the email address you use to login) and click on "If you believe this is an error, please click this link to let us know" to submit an appeal ticket.
If you are a Pinterest VA or manager, you can use your email and reference your client's profile URL. ** Note that Pinterest might reach out to your client to confirm your identity before releasing information to you**
-Keep an eye on your following and stats for the next couple of days. We suspect that this was a mass spam clean-up that went wrong, which means that you might see some following drop; I won't worry too much about that. However, check to make sure that your pins are still ranking under your relevant keywords.
-Although this "suspension" might have been an error, now would be a good time to review Pinterest's community guidelines if you haven't already. These are always changing it is great to have all the information you need for safe pinning!
-The Pinterest team is there to help! If you still encounter issues with your profile or client profiles, don't hesitate to send in a ticket with questions. The Pinterest team is always willing to help!
I hope your accounts are back up running, and this helped! Feel free to drop any questions you have below, and I'll do my best to answer them or point you in the right direction.
