I feel like I’ve had my tongue tied on putting much on my grid until I had the energy to share this ongoing story and honour what I’ve been navigating…
It’s a lot to read and I’m grateful for any of you who do, and know that it’s actually so much bigger than the van - I’ve put some of the tech talk in there to capture the head f**k of it all for those of us who are not engine savvy. There are so many triggers, lessons and growth points in this experience. It has touched on old wounds that have quietly guided and fuelled the journey that I’m on with Wild Creativity. Life experiences kept in the dark that may also be ready to come out into the light, so I’m grateful for that.
This post also honours how things that ‘should be straightforward’ can be so painful because of the injustices of the structures we live in, and the dishonesty that it breeds.
Honouring how painful and triggering something like going to a mechanic can be for anyone who has experienced abuse in any facet of life - familial, relational, workplace, societal, the list goes on.
Having to trust someone that you don’t know because they have something or say that they can do something that you need touches on so many wounds, maybe especially as women.
There will likely be more on this… for now, for the practical, keep me in your thoughts today as I’m reunited with my Scoopy, and hope to complete the journey that was started almost three weeks ago.
