Actually, we're not. And that's the problem. At the touch of a key, everyone is everything. Consequently, we have a nation of people posing as creatives, and clients who don't know the difference. So now we have a remake of Macgyver, a regurgitation of Ocean's Eleven and Ghostbusters, both with all-female casts (nothing against women, of course), and a horrible commercial for Michelob beer using a tired Tony Bennett song. Sorry, Creative Directors aren't born every day, in spite of technology. And I'm in no danger of buying a Lincoln.
