Financial Advisors work harder than you think. Salute to all Financial Advisors!

Due to the lockdown, I spent the past 3 months with 3 Financial Advisors. And I just want to honor them and share their story with you.

They would wake up at 5 or 6 every morning and end the day past 10PM, just to maximize their day - client meetings, online trainings, team huddles, and servicing existing clients.

When they're not in a meeting, they'd listen to podcasts, read books on personal finance, and attend relevant training and webinars, both free and paid. They equip themselves as much as they can to better serve their clients.

Aside from being a Licensed Insurance Advisors, they'd get certifications to become a stock broker, a Registered Financial Planner (RFP), a Certified Investment Solicitor (CIS), and others. Again, all these certifications, to better serve their clients and provide more value to them.

So you see, being a Financial Advisor is not easy.

I want to honor them because despite the struggles, challenges and rejections they face on a daily basis, they still push through. Not just for them and their family, but for the very clients that they try to secure.

If you're a Financial Advisor and you're struggling right now, I want to encourage you. Know that what you do is important, and that you touch lives. Focus on becoming the best advisor that you can be and continue adding value to people. Keep going!

And every time that you would think about quitting, remember why you became one in the first place. I salute you!

You know what my not so secret to success is?

I chose the right life partner.

When you have a life partner who hustles with you, prays with you, and supports your goals, the sky is the limit.

We bought our first home and car together.
Saved our first million together.
And built our first business together.

5 years into our relationship, I've accomplished a lot of my goals, went to many places, and became a better person.

Be with someone who strives to grow with you while still having your own individuality. Someone who has big dreams and is serious in making those a reality. Someone who you can pray with and honor God.

And when you’ve chosen that life partner, make sure you’re someone she can choose too.
