PAY IT FORWARD UPDATE:

After 3 weeks, 25+ meals have been paid forward and we still have the funds to donate AT LEAST another 100 meals.

Starting today (4/7/20) we've decided to expand the reach of this program so that it can support even more out of work restaurant employees by adding 2,000+ restaurants to our reimbursement list. Any Chicago restaurant listed on the Dining At A Distance site is now eligible for reimbursement: https://www.liist.cc/dining-at-a-distance/chicago

We know it can be hard to ask for help. All requests are kept 100% private. If your money's tight, this program is here to support you.

In the first week since launching our Fund:

40+ amazing people have contributed (some have even donated multiple times) and as a result we've already reimbursed 12 meals ordered from 8 of our 13 suggested restaurants!

Reimbursement requests are kept 100% anonymous. If you're in need of financial support for a meal all you have to do is send us copy of your paid receipt from one of the Chicago restaurants on our list: https://ohsocial.com/pay-it-forward/

If you order a meal at any of the following restaurants, our Fund will reimburse you up to $20 (per day, per person) for as long as dine-in restaurants are closed and we have funds available.
