Creativity has the power to tell stories that matter.

As an art student at New College Lanarkshire with a passion for graphic design the campaign really stood out to me. It shows how powerful visual storytelling can be! A simple idea, shared creatively, that makes people stop and think about their future. Or, like me, makes people reflect on their own journeys in education. I especially like that this campaign has no age attached to it. No images of teens, no target audience other than for those that see themselves being happy in education or happy in a career they see for themselves in the not-so-distant future.

Studying here has shown me that design isn't just about making things look good. It's about communicating messages, inspiring people, visual storytelling and being part of something bigger.

Excited to keep developing my skills and hopefully contribute to creative campaigns like this in my future career as a graphic designer.

I'm starting an art & design course in August and I've decided I'd quite like to use this page in the mean time as a display of art during my studies. Of course I'll still be offering graphic design/illustration services but that won't be my main focus for a wee while. I'm very excited to start this new journey!

Something you should know about me is I LOVE logo design! A good logo is essential for any business or organisation because it is the face of their brand. It represents their identity, values, and mission, and is often the first impression that potential customers, clients or stakeholders will have.

A well-designed logo can leave a lasting and positive impact on the minds of consumers, helping to build brand recognition and trust over time. It should be memorable, easily recognisable, and versatile enough to be used across different platforms and mediums from social media, print, products and even shop fronts!

Ultimately, a strong logo can help to differentiate a business from competitors and foster a sense of loyalty among customers and clientele.

I've been spending a long time figuring out how to rebrand this page to be more in line with my interests and I think I've figured it out :)
The LR linework logo I've made is now my permanent logo for the foreseeable. I now provide graphic design and ad-hoc marketing advice (social media, branding etc) as well as photography services!

Thank you everyone who's stuck by me while making these changes. It's been a long journey!
