Founded by Linda Miles and Bob Battersby in 1998. Lodestone Publishing was established in 1998 to offer a full range of services to the book publishing industry. Since then, the company has extended its scope to include corporate identity design and branding, CD and DVD design and packaging, advertising copywriting and design, and product packaging. We can provide graphic design, typesetting, page
layout, photography, art buying and illustration, picture research, copywriting, feature writing, copy editing, proofreading and project management. Our clients include HarperCollins Publishers, Oxford University Press, Macmillan ELT, Hodder Education, AA Publishing, Bradt Travel Guides, Wealden, Arun and Mid-Sussex local authorities, Lojer Products, Brittany Ferries, Blaze Publishing, Bauer Media. Linda Miles has more than 30 years' experience as an editor and project manager in the book publishing industry, especially children's trade and educational titles, and travel guides. She also has a professional qualification in graphic design, supported by 15 years' practical experience in print media. Robert Battersby is a professional photographer and feature writer with more than 20 years' experience. Prior to that he held a number of senior management positions in the service industry sector.
