Another brand out there in the world!!!

I absolutely LOVED working on this rebrand for .anstee.coach - I’ve followed her on here for some time now and always found her content thoughtful and insightful so when she came to me with this project I jumped at the chance.

Hannah wanted to refresh her visual identity and a big reference point were the William Morris prints she remembered from her family home growing up, along with her deep connection to nature and a return to softness and femininity that comes with growing older, oh - and the book The Heroine’s Journey.

My treatment wove together pulpy paper textures alongside swirling fonts and soft colours. I introduced ‘totems’ that relate directly to Hannah’s brand values and offer way finders along her Heroine’s Journey.

We’re currently in the process of rolling it out across her Substack, social media and website. Hope you like it! ✌🏼

A room with a view. We just love watching the weather roll by through this picture window. Sometimes you get 4 seasons in one day here on the Dumfries and Galloway coastline but one things for sure - it never gets boring!

What to do when you’ve got a free morning and creative flow?! Redesign the branding for an everyday item you have around the house. Of course. 😂

I actually HATE the way the majority of traditional ‘feminine care’ brands present themselves. So sanitised and … well, ICK. What do you think?

Earlier this week I launched a website for my dad’s woodturning hobby. After years selling his work through fairs and craft markets he wanted to concentrate more on design and bespoke pieces so wanted to create an online home for his made to order service.

I built the website in Squarespace as well as writing all the copy and doing all the art direction and photography! Basically the whole shebang!

Last day of January. It’s been a slow month workwise but we’re not meant to admit that are we? We’ve gotta be smashing it all the time like some sort of competitive school mum. If you’ve had a slow month too, I see you.

Rather than wallow I thought I’d do some designing just for me. I love making playlists on Spotify to soundtrack my day, my latest playlist is a sort of 1960’s kitchen sink drama come ode to Americana with a healthy dose of shoegaze. (I can send you a link if you drop me a DM) This morning I created vinyl sleeves for some of the tracks on the playlist. Which is your favourite?

My social media packages.

I offer three main packages of:
- content creation
- DIY templates
- coaching sessions

Since going freelance my content creation package has been fully subscribed and I haven’t had capability to take on more clients but I’m delighted to say that a couple of spots have recently become available so if you want to outsource the creation, posting and captions for your socials but want to keep doing the fun stuff like engaging with your DMs or followers and watching reels then this is the package for you.

Branding + Websites … super proud of this project for Woodsage Consulting.

When Jack came to me with his brief to work on the branding and website for his newly launched arborist consultancy he had a pretty clear vision for his brand - clean lines, simplicity and a visual that captured the feeling of trees as part of a lived in landscape.

I developed a palette based on classic, heritage colours and married it with a fairly traditional font juxtaposed against a modern, clean treatment for visual element.

Once the brand identity was signed off, I built the website in Squarespace giving Jack a digital shopfront to show his work and sell his skills. I think his feedback says it all …
