Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband. We love you so much. Here’s the cake you wanted last year but I couldn’t make, as we were camping. An 8 layer ferrero rocher cake (recipe from Cupcake Jemma) with alternating layers of chocolate and hazelnut sponge, hazelnut buttercream, two types of chocolate ganache, chocolate drip and home made meringue kisses coated with toasted hazelnuts. 😊🍰 🎈🥳 Benj Pearson

A cake to reflect the ‘now’ of a most precious boy’s ever changing likes. Although ‘oroar’, ‘kay’ and ‘Jawjaw’ (orange, cake and George) have been constants for a long while now. Happy 2nd Birthday to our wonderful Isaac. 🧡🥳 💚🐷💙🎉 🧡

Three 8 inch layers of vanilla madeira cake filled with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream and decorated with fondant icing and the all important plastic figures that can be removed and played with for a lot longer than the cake will last. ❤️ 🍰 🎉 ❤️

A rainbow unicorn drip cake for our gorgeous Emilia’s 5th Birthday party. Happy Birthday little one!! May you always be as excitable as you were when you danced and jumped with your friends and blew out the candles on your cake!

Bottom tier - Chocolate Madeira cake filled with buttercream and strawberry jam, covered in rainbow coloured buttercream and a pink chocolate ganache drip.

Top tier - Vanilla Madeira cake filled with buttercream icing and strawberry and decorated with buttercream flowers and a unicorn

Such fun to do a cake again after so long 😊❤️🍰🎈🎂

A racing track themed 3rd birthday cake - three layers of vanilla sponge filled with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream covered in fondant and buttercream details. Hot Wheel cars were added later by mum once I’d delivered the cake. Lovely to have been able to make for someone else again after so long, although cake making in the heat was hot work ❤️😊🎂🏎

White decadence - 6 layers of white cake (yolks only) filled with silky Italian meringue buttercream and covered in a rich vanilla American buttercream icing. It’s topped with a white chocolate drip and finished off with white chocolate and coconut truffles. 🧁🍰 🎂

My 4 year old daughter made this chocolate cake almost totally by herself. We then iced it together. It was book week at nursery and I suggested we make a cake. This was our together result. Inspiration from The Rainbow Fish 😊❤️🎂🐠

And with that, our little boy baby is one!!! He is so precious and brings us all such joy. He also has an incredible sense of humour and adores the song “5 Little Monkeys”. With that in mind, here’s our cheerful, laughter-filled monkey’s cake.

4 layers of light, moist sponge, filled with strawberry jam and velvety vanilla buttercream, topped with a coloured white chocolate ganache drip, a hand crafted, edible monkey, buttercream embellishments and fondant bananas. Monkey 🐒 🍰 👶 🍼 🎈 🐵 🥳 🎉

And she’s 4!! A year may have passed but Emilia’s love for ice cream has probably increased 😂 So, another ice cream cake it was. Every cake I make takes on a character of its own and I love seeing how they turn out.

Here, 4 tiers of moist vanilla sponge that top a dummy cake below are filled with alternating layers of strawberry jam and velvety vanilla buttercream icing. A smooth buttercream outside is then decorated with an upside down cake pop style ice cream, buttercream swirls and glittery star sprinkles. 🧁🍦🎁 🎈 🥳

First cake for someone non-family for ages. It was so nice to get back to it again too and what a treat to make another cake for Vicci Edwards. Happy Birthday your wonderful now not so little boy, who I can’t believe will be 4 tomorrow. Have a fantastic day little man 🎉🧁🎈🎁

This is a 6 layer, 7 inch vanilla sponge cake, generously filled with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream and decorated with hand painted leaves and footprints, buttercream swamps and glitzy stones. The dinosaurs are plastic and were provided by Vicci. I’m sure they will be much played with once removed from the cake 🍰 🧁 🦕 🦖
