I'm hiring a part-time contract social media manager!

Looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience for writing, designing, scheduling and engaging with social media posts for the ag and trade industries.

The ideal candidate would:
- Know how to use AI in a way that no one can tell.
- Have demonstrated success on Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Understand and effectively execute Meta ads.
- Be able to start SOON.

I don't think this is usually done through a Facebook post but let's give it a try! I have a few things I've designed (for t-shirts, cards, stickers I never took the time to market, logos that weren't chosen) that are ready and waiting to be used.

I can customize fonts and colors. Prices depend on whether you'd like exclusive rights, and what kind of customizations and final files you need.

I’ve been thinking lately about whether or not the kind of content I’m sharing really matches the name of my page anymore.

Because wouldn’t you expect to see examples of communications work on a page called “Hannah Barthels Communications?”

I find myself talking a lot more about why and how I do the things than the actual things I do. And you know what, it’s what I encourage my clients to do too.

For me, I’m pretty well booked with work, so this is more for fun and connections down the road than signing a new client tomorrow.

But also, in the grand scheme of things, there’s a whole list of others who do the same thing as me. But HOW I do it, or WHY? That’s just me.

Lucky for me, that falls under the category of “communications” too.

I don’t have many mic drop moments with my kids (there is ALWAYS a follow up question) but this was one time I got it.

We were listening to a book, and the author declared to the lazy kid: EVERYTHING IS A RACE!

And my kids said, “No that’s not true right?!”

At first I fumbled with that one a little bit. Because no, we do not always need to race up the stairs, to brush our teeth faster, to get in the car first, or to know the most things. These are things they hear quite often.

“So why would he SAY that?!”

Because. The race he’s talking about is to be better than yourself, not better than your brother.

“Ohhhhh!” (I’m telling you, these conversations are never this short)

But it was a sweet little reminder that we are never without the tools we truly need. Whether it’s to know what to say, or to be better than we were yesterday.
