Voor een project ben ik op zoek naar welke vragen ouders hebben over het schermgebruik van hun kind, en die ga ik dan proberen te beantwoorden door met experts, ouders en kinderen te praten.

Ben je ouder/verzorger en heb je vragen over het schermgebruik van je kind dat tussen de 8 en 12 jaar is? Help mij dan door max 13 korte vragen te beantwoorden!

Life is about change. Not a day goes by without it, and change is as necessary as our heartbeat. For some change is growth, for others it is loss. Change can bring joy and sadness. And it is never simple.

Now I like change; to me it is vital to my humanity. The many times my life had to change course (whether desired or not) every new, unexpected road has eventually taken me on fantastic adventures I could not have fathomed and I am grateful to have experienced them. Sounds awesome, right? None of these experiences would have been half as awesome without the struggle that came with them.

One of my favorite quotes is by Nelson Mandela: “It always seems impossible until it’s done.” I love this quote and I believe this to be true. When you look back on the proverbial mountains you’ve climbed, most of you will probably agree that some of these seemed impossible when they were done. It’s funny how there is always a way.

One of the reasons I love project management is that however much you try to mitigate risk, something always changes. It’s those changes that challenge your experience and puts you at the tip of your toes. Those are the moments you show them what you’re made of and allow you to grow. Those are the moments that make you feel like you’ve really achieved something.

Here I am, at my home office, typing a blog post because I’ve quit my fulltime job to work as a freelance project manager. I have no work lined up, but am working on it. My experience assures me that eventually something will come. It won’t be exactly what I had in mind and also not when but it might just put me on a new unexpected journey. The scary thing is; I don’t know what this is yet and how this will happen. Today it feels impossible.
