PR can get you seen.
It cannot make people buy from you without the proper sales system.

If someone finds you, clicks, reads, and still doesn’t know exactly what you do or why it matters, they’re not going to buy.

That’s not a publicity problem.
That’s a clarity problem.

You can land the feature.
You can get the interview.
You can be in the right room.

But if your message doesn’t connect immediately, the opportunity passes just as fast.

People don’t slow down to figure you out.
They move on.

So when sales aren’t happening, it’s not always about needing more exposure.
It’s about what people experience once they find you.

PR amplifies what’s already there.
If the message is unclear, confusion is what gets amplified.

And confusion will always block the sale.

Let’s talk about why you aren’t making the money you want in your business.

1. No one knows who you are.
A lack of visibility will always limit your revenue. If people don’t know you, they cannot consider you, and if they’re not considering you, they’re not buying.
2. You’re not in the right rooms or the right media outlets.
It’s not just about showing up, it’s about where you’re seen. If your brand isn’t present in spaces that influence trust and decision-making, you’re being overlooked.
3. You think social media equals visibility.
It doesn’t. Social media is one channel, not the full strategy. Relying on it alone keeps your brand confined and limits how your brand is perceived.
4. You’re not positioned as the obvious choice.
If your audience has to question your value or take extra time to figure out if you’re the right fit, they will move on to someone who feels clear and certain.

These are the reasons your revenue isn’t where you want it to be.

When your visibility is intentional, when you’re in the right spaces, and when your positioning is clear, your business stops being an option and starts being the decision.

In my latest episode, I break down how I increased our revenue by 140 percent. And the truth is, it came down to one question I had to answer honestly:

Am I doing what’s required?

Not what’s comfortable. Not what looks good. What actually drives results.

I had to get clear on what I wanted, cut what wasn’t aligned, and show up every single day with intention and discipline.

That level of growth doesn’t happen by chance. It’s built through focus, consistency, and real self-accountability.

So ask yourself: What can you do with what you have in your hands right now? And are you actually doing it?

P.S. And in case you were wondering, yes this is the episode I was working on in my last post

Watch me almost not post this yesterday… and then have a whole praise break after I did.

A few weeks ago, God told me to start showing up on YouTube again. Just post and stop overthinking.

And somehow I still dragged my feet.

I had already built a channel before. 156 subscribers, momentum, all of that. Lost access to it. So in my head, starting over felt like doing the most.

But yesterday felt different. Everything was flowing. Clear. Productive. No excuses.

So I sat down, worked through CapCut trying me, edited this myself, and finally hit post.

And listen… I really had a praise break after 😂

Because it wasn’t even about the video being perfect. It was about me finally doing what I said I was going to do.

I dropped “How I Increased My Revenue by 140% in 90 Days.” Old video, still hits.

"Do you need some money?"

As a business owner, the answer is always yes, but I want to share with you why I recently walked away from a five figure deal, and I would do it again.

I had a conversation with someone I genuinely wanted to work with. Great story. Real vision. The kind of client you root for from the first call.
But when it came down to the structure, we couldn’t get aligned And I had to make a call.
I walked away from a five-figure deal.
Not because I was being difficult. Not because I didn’t believe in her. But because I knew that saying yes to the wrong structure would mean showing up as less than what she deserved and that’s not something I’m willing to do.

Let me let you in on a secret, when you're thinking about hiring a publicist, you may think that having the option to "pay per placement" may be best but here's the thing:

Pay per placement feels like control. Until it’s working.

Your agency lands three placements in 14 days. Momentum is building. Visibility is happening.

And now your invoice is higher than you expected.

So the conversation shifts from results to cost.

That’s the tradeoff.

Because pay per placement turns PR into a transaction. It removes the consistency and strategy that actually create long term visibility.

A retainer keeps the focus where it belongs. On positioning, relationships, and momentum that compounds.

At the level plays at, you’re not paying for a single outcome. You’re investing in how your brand is being positioned over time.
