É 2020 e ainda temos que lutar pelo direito de VIVER.
Nosso futuro não é garantido como o dos outros. É difícil sonhar por uma vida melhor quando você não nasceu da cor que eles permitem nesse mundo. E ainda assim nós sonhamos.
Eles sexualizam nossos corpos, nos generalizam, tomam nossa cultura, copiam nossos traços e então, nos matam. Eles tiram tudo de nós pra fazer deles, mas eles nunca serão negros.
Porque ser negro é ser guerreiro. Nós existimos. Nós somos sobreviventes da escravidão. Nossas vidas são um testemunho político por si só. E não vamos continuar escravos do jeito que eles querem. Nós somos negros e orgulhosos. NÓS IMPORTAMOS E SEREMOS OUVIDOS.

It’s 2020 and we still have to fight for the right to LIVE.
Our future is not guaranteed like the others’. It’s hard to dream about a better life when you weren’t born the color they allow in this world. And yet we dream.
They sexualize our bodies, generalize us, take our culture, copy our traces, and then kill us. They take everything from us to make theirs but they won’t ever be black.
Cause being black is being a warrior. We do exist. We are survivors of slavery. Our lives are political statements themselves. And we won’t remain slaves the way they want. We’re black and proud. WE MATTER AND WE’LL BE HEARD.
