I've noticed something about my marketing over the years.
Whenever I go a few months without writing a blog post, everything else suddenly gets harder.
I sit down to create content and draw a blank. What do I even talk about? Instagram ideas feel forced. Pinterest pins feel harder. Even writing emails becomes a struggle.
Nothing in my business has actually changed, in January I just stopped doing the thing that usually fuels all my content.
For me, my blog is the backbone of everything. One post can turn into Pinterest pins, Instagram posts, emails, and future content ideas. Instead of constantly trying to come up with something new, I'm just building on something that already exists.
Marketing feels a lot easier when I do it that way, so if you ever feel like you're constantly staring at a blank screen wondering what to post, you might just be missing a foundation piece of content to work from!
