Art Institute & Point Park College: Visual Arts & Design. (Illustration & design freelance continued after the internship was completed)

First “Real” Job: Gateway Clipper Fleet - Graphic Designer (Riverboat company: I didn’t work on dry land for 7 years!)

Next Up: Dick’s Sporting Goods Marketing Department (in various roles selling everything from Under Armour to deer pee for 12 years). Talents used: design, print production, expert-level communication, and - most of all - patience.) After That: I left the corporate world and went freelance full-time. I hoped that working as hard for myself as I did for “the man” would work out. Now: Living the dream providing businesses of all sizes with design excellence, a drama-free experience and as much fun as possible.

In a very “full circle” or “worlds colliding” moment, Dick’s Sporting Goods renovated the Sto-Rox High School weight room - part of which was repainted and outfitted with several versions of the logos I did for the school district a number of years ago. 😁

I can't help but notice a buzz about Kindle books in my algorithm today, which brings to mind the joy I will always experience when holding a REAL BOOK. Especially when my design is on the cover. if you want to see some books covers I did as well as meet some of the awesome authors I worked with.... COME TO THE SPRING LOCAL AUTHOR FAIR! Do you remember my THIRD JOURNAL? Of course not... it's BRAND NEW! My latest creation is up on Amazon now! A copy will be traveling with me next month to drop off at Niagara Parks in hopes that this one will join the other two in their gift shops!
