Please light your own candles and join us as we pray to our Heavenly Father to open the eyes, ears and hearts of the members of the Alabama House tomorrow, Thursday, April 29, 2021. The time is now, it is critical for the sick, suffering and dying citizens to have access to legal, therapeutic Cannabis.

Here is the email that I sent:
This may be one of the most difficult and important emails I have ever composed. I pray that you're receiving thousands of emails from the citizens of the State of Alabama who support Senate Bill 46 aka the Compassion Act. I pray that my email will be seen and read and that God will open your hearts and minds to the truth about therapeutic Cannabis.
I am 61 years old and in 2012, the most important person in my life, my sister, died of chemotherapy poisoning. You may find it odd for me to say she didn’t die of cancer but when we were sitting in the office of her oncologist, she asked him how long she had to live. He reached over and patted her on her knee and told her not to worry about dying of cancer, the chemotherapy would kill her.
My Sister died on 8/17/2012 of chemotherapy poisoning. I will never be the same person I was before her death. Prior to her death, I began reading about the healing properties of Cannabis and the Endocannabinoid System. During her battle I was her primary caregiver and I didn’t have the time necessary to do the much needed research of Cannabis to save her life. I will regret that until the day I die.
After her death, God lit a fire under me. He called me to advocate for access to therapeutic Cannabis for the citizens of Alabama. I have spent the last 8.5 years, researching the topic and networking with Cannabis advocates and researchers around the world to learn the truth about why Cannabis was prohibited in 1937 and why it is still prohibited. When God calls, I listen. What I learned in a nutshell, CANNABIS DOES KILL CANCER! My sister did not die in vain.
I’m starting to believe that some people will not believe that Cannabis is a miracle plant, a panacea until it becomes “personal” to them. If you or one of your family members were dying of an illness would you not try everything there was to save their life? If a person was dying and there was no hope what could be the harm of trying therapeutic Cannabis? And why not try therapeutic “full extract Cannabis Oil” before their bodies are ravaged with toxic chemotherapy drugs and radiation? Who would say NO to a chance to live?
In the past 8.5 years I have spent 10 - 14 hours a day on my own research and Cannabis advocacy, attempting to educate others. You may think that sounds insane and impossible but if I'm lying, I’m dying.
God called me and I have been relentless in my pursuit to end the absolute insanity that Cannabis is a gateway drug, that Cannabis is the “devil’s lettuce”. Nothing could be further from the truth. Cannabis was given to us by our Creator for the healing of the Nations and our bodies.
If you aren’t a Christian, I in no way want to offend you but if you are a believer in God, He tells us the following in His scriptures and you would need to research the Greek text to fully understand that our bible today does not refer to Cannabis directly but in the Greek scriptures it is referred to as Kaneh Bosm.

I am begging you, I am pleading with you on behalf of the citizens of the State of Alabama, the sick suffering and dying citizens of the State of Alabama, please for the love of God and all that is Holy, VOTE YES on the COMPASSION ACT.
The sick, suffering and dying citizens of Alabama do not have the luxury to wait. Many do not have time on their side. Shouldn’t they have the “right to choose” what they know is best for them? The answer is “Yes”.
