BEWARE of emails telling you to 'validate your email account' or something similar.

These emails are NEVER from us, our mail servers or your mail server, they are PHISHING attempts that are trying to get you to provide your login details to take over your mail account.

Always check the 'from' details - they will not match your mail server, which is a dead give away.
Any links will go to 3rd party servers, so thats also an indication the mail is fraudulent in intent.

The example below is pretending to be from our account (blacked out) but comes from the address in red - a hijacked mail system most likely.
The link in red takes us to some cloud hosted web server that is asking for our login - luckily this site is flagged as UNSAFE by our virus software so we'd know it was a hoax at that point too.

Email Reset Phishing - be aware.

We are aware of emails prompting you to change your email password - these are nothing to do with Solis Infotech and are designed to steal your current email details.
Our server NEVER sends this kind of message. Its unlikely that any email system will do this, so please do be aware of the scam.

If in doubt, always check the sender information - in this case the most recent emails come from [email protected] - a hacked netherlands email account. Sometimes the 'from details' will be masked and appear legitimate, but a quick look at the 'email headers' will show you the originating servers and domains - so if something pretends to be from say 'gmail' in the 'from field' checking the headers will show you that its sent from some unrelated servers often with .ru or .cn (russian or chinese) server names.

You can see in these two screen shots that the web addresses and emails in the red rings are NOT what you would expect from a legitimate email from Solis Infotech.

This is also a common trick to phish for Facebook user ID and passwords, especially from kids who tend to share links without any thought - if your kids get phished like this, you need to reset passwords for all accounts they access, as they often use the same passwords and user id's for everything.....

Just spent the last hour rescuing a Concrete 5 website that had been rendered inoperable by another hosting company (nothing to do with us) for a long standing client - We got them back up and running on Solis Servers with enough functionality for them to start the task of rebuilding the site fully. Not what I had in mind for a Wednesday evening, but entertaining none the less! Helped in the task by Rich at Litchfield Morris.

More domains added to our spam black list this week - if you are expecting emails from clients but are not getting them, look in your spam folders. If they are returned to sender, please ask the sender to provide info so that we can add their email to our safe list.

3D printing using Formlabs Form3 and Elegoo Mars Resin Printers.

We are now able to bring you a cost effective 3D resin printing solution using our in-house print farm. We currently run three Elegoo Mars printers for non-critical geometry applications and a Formlabs Form3 printer where high print accuracy and geometric print accuracy is required.

We can print in a variety of resins and at a range of resolutions depending on your requirements.

We also offer an in-house 3D design service and a resin casting service to complement the 3D printing.
