- According to Instacart sales data, one in three Instacart customers has purchased a plant-based meat or milk product.

- Plant-based meat—the grill-friendly “faux meat” category saw major sales growth on Instacart last year, with 42% YOY growth in 2020.

- The next big thing? Instacart customers adopted jackfruit at a 50% faster clip in 2020, and growth continues into 2021.

- The first plant-based product most consumers try is milk with almond being most popular.

If you know that your target 🎯 audience is Gen Z and the data shows that “After astronomical user growth in 2019 and 2020, TikTok will reach a pivotal milestone with respect to its youngest users. By the end of this year, the video app will have a larger number of Gen Z users in the US than that of Instagram. And it will surpass Snapchat in terms of total users by 2023, according to our latest social user forecast.”....then guess which platform you need to be prioritizing and expending your creative and marketing team towards (big or small): TIKTOK.

But guess what??? Everyday, companies don’t look at the data and get comfortable with where they’ve had prior success. Prior success doesn’t equate to future success. The needle is always moving.

And truly, what’s great about creating brilliant content is that you can repurpose it for new/other platforms.

Let the data inform how you go about using your creative and marketing dollars to achieve your company’s strategic goals...in this case, it is not complicated.
