Just want to share two quick, powerful SEO resources that are FREE but will give you a headstart when it comes to ranking your site on Google.
If you have not done so yet, do not wait another day to add Google Analytics (make sure it's GA 4 & not universal), and then connect it to your Google Search Console.
By having these two working for you, you'll be able to:

1️⃣ See what keywords your site/content is ranking for
2️⃣ See how your visitors interact with your site
3️⃣ Find out where your pages are ranking for specific keywords
4️⃣ See how many pages on your site Google has indexed
5️⃣ You'll be able to see if your site is mobile-friendly or not (this is a ranking factor and something you don't want to take lightly)
6️⃣ See what sites are linking to yours
7️⃣ Check to see if your site has been penalized for anything

In the image below I was doing some work on my other site and you can see that in my Google Search Console I have keywords that are being used to find my site, then Vol (amount of people searching a month), how many Impressions that page received in the SERP - Google's result page, and the position where my page is ranking for that keyword word.

I can literally do a few tweaks with on-page optimization and push it up to the first position on Google.

These are those quick wins that you didn't even know about because you may not have these two tools installed.

If installing GA4 and connecting it to your Google Search Console overwhelms you, no need to worry, just reach out to me and we can set up a time for me to get it all set up for you. It's just one of those things that EVERY SINGLE online business owner should have on their site if they are serious about generating leads and making sales.

We started a case study for a local home inspection business that is looking to ramp up its commercial building inspections.

1️⃣ - The very first thing I do when preparing to market and rank a page is to get a Baseline for where they are before we do anything to the site. ❓ Questions we ask are: where are they ranking, how many visitors they are getting to that page, how many people are converting (basically taking an action on their site), and what sort of sales are they getting?

2️⃣ - Next, if they have a page they want to rank we look at its CTA (Call to Action) buttons, the UX (user experience), and what sort of on-page optimization has been done on the site.

3️⃣ - We then re-design, or design from scratch, a page that is not only going to rank on the 1st page of Google but when it does rank and the traffic starts pouring in, those visitors will convert into leads, sales, email addresses, phone calls, or whatever CTA we have decided to use.

4️⃣ - After a month or two (yes it does take time because...well, it's Google and we have to have patience) we will compare the numbers of where we started and where we are now.

So far for this client, we have done steps 1, 2, & part of step 3. The page has been re-designed and now we will put into motion our on-page SEO processes of ranking it.

"Facebook at Work" this is going to be very interesting. Since we all use Facebook anyway and are so familiar with it why not use it to collaborate on projects within your company.

Facebook says, "Note that Facebook at Work was created completely for use within a company — that means employees’ Facebook at Work info is safe, secure, confidential and completely separate from their personal Facebook profiles. The info shared among employees is only accessible to people in the company."
I'm kinda excited to see this coming but on the other hand can't help but to think that it gives Facebook that much more power into our work lives as well.
