Last Thursday we took over the Alexandra Suite at for the very first Sketch & Style: A Guided Fashion Illustration Evening with 🥹💕

Connie guided us beautifully through drawing two stunning looks styled by on our amazing model 💃🏼 I’m still thinking about that gorgeous pre-loved skirt 🤩

Watching everyone pick up a pencil and sketch, but also chat and connect meant so much to me! And seeing some of the sketches in that room - they were soooo good! 😍

We ate canapés, flicked through magazine, drank tea and chatted the night away!

If you were there — thank you so much for being part of the very first one. It really was a privilege to spend a night with you all 💕

And if you missed it... there’s potential that we might do something similar again 👀💅

In just 3 days, we’ll be taking over the beautiful Alexandra Suite at 💕

will be bringing their gorgeous pre-loved fashion to the evening 👗✨

Co-founder Gabby, who brings over a decade of professional styling experience, will be dressing our live model in two stunning looks from Through Your Wardrobe’s beautiful collection 😍

On the night, Gabby and Charlotte will also be sharing styling tips and chatting about the story behind the brand, with guiding us through a clothed life drawing session with a fashion twist ✏️💃

Absolutely no experience needed. Connie will meet us where we are!

We’ll be sketching gorgeous fashion, eating canapés, drinking tea, flicking through magazines and spending an evening doing something creative just for us 💕

This is where Sketch and Style: A Guided Fashion Illustration Evening with is happening ✨

I love the Alexandra Suite at the ! It’s beautiful, it’s cozy, but also has loads of natural light so it’s the perfect place for some sketching ✏️

We’ll have fashion magazines on the tables, partly for inspiration but also because flicking through Vogue is one of the fastest ways to start a good conversation!

There’ll also be canapés from the Royal Wells kitchen (they look SO good), teas and coffees throughout, and then the brilliant and talented Connie guiding us through a clothed life drawing session with a fashion twist!

If you’re driving, there’s limited parking at the front of the hotel and several car parks including Crescent Road, Monson Road, Church Road and Mount Ephraim Road within walking distance. Or 11 minutes from Tunbridge Wells station if you fancy the walk.

I’m so excited to introduce our live model for Sketch and Style: A Guided Fashion Illustration Evening at … 💕

Federica is a multidisciplinary artist, product designer, and illustrator who’s been based in London for the last nine years.

In her own words:

“I started out as a makeup artist, then moved into product design and illustration. Lately I’ve been completely obsessed with life drawing and collage, and I love drawing portraits and the human body. I also model for different artists, which has been such a freeing and inspiring experience. I’ve always loved fashion, so I feel really lucky to now combine my two passions by modelling for fashion life drawing sessions.”

On 28th May, she’ll be modelling a series of stunning looks for us to draw and will bring the gorgeous clothes we have lined up to life 😍 So exciting!!

Over the past week, I’ve been dropping off bookmarks across Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge – my version of a flyer for the fashion illustration evening I’m running on 28th May 🎨

Everyone I spoke to was so kind 🥹 A huge thank you to all the businesses below that took them in.

The event will be a clothed life drawing session with a fashion twist. Our incredible live model will step out in a series of stunning outfits, while you get to pick up a pencil and draw each pose, guided by , the fashion illustrator who has worked with Chanel, Dior and Alexander McQueen!

On 28th May, I’m hosting a fashion illustration evening at 💕

Three months ago I fell in love with ‘s work and thought I’d reach out to see if she’d run an event in Tunbridge Wells.

She said YES 💅

Since then, we’ve secured a venue, designed an evening we’re really proud of, and sold a third of the tickets already! 🙌

So, what’s the event? Well, it’s a clothed life drawing session with a fashion twist. Our beautiful live model will step out in a series of stunning outfits, while you get to pick up a pencil and draw each pose, guided by Connie, who has created work for Chanel, Dior, Miu Miu and McQueen ✏️💃

Connie will meet us where we are (for me it’s stick figures 😅), and we’ll leave with illustrations that we love and hopefully a new skill ✏️

Feeling really grateful after wrapping up the Clarity & Confidence sessions – thank you to everyone who joined and supported me along the way. 👋💛

It was such a joy to hear what matters to you when it comes to marketing, see some pennies drop and new ideas spark, as well as connect with others.

Hosting those sessions gave me clarity too! Especially around what I want to offer and the kind of space I want to build. I'm now taking some small steps in that direction.

And, in the meantime, I’ve decided it’s time to start finding my voice online.

I’ve never been a big poster, but I’m going to try showing up here a bit more regularly. You can expect:
