Great news for our community and MELTON FUEL GROUP.

Last night the City of Melton approved a permit application for a independant fuel station in Melton.

This is great news for our community!

For far to long our community has been ripped off with high fuel prices.

Olivia is missing.

The 13-year-old was last seen in Bacchus Marsh at approximately 2:30pm on Wednesday 18 September 2024.

Olivia is described as Caucasian in appearance, short height approx. 5’2, small build, dyed blonde hair (golden brown in colour).

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Bacchus Marsh Police Station on (03) 5366 4500.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Tom.

The 59-year-old Harkness man was last sighted around 4pm on High Street in Melton.

Tom is descried as 165cm tall with a medium build, short grey hair and has a tattoo of a green clover on his right hand.

He was wearing a grey hooded top, pink shirt, green shorts and white runners.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare as he has dementia and medical conditions.

He may be in the Kings Park or Werribee areas.

Police have released an image of Tom in the hope that someone can provide information on his current whereabouts.

Anyone who sights Tom is urged to contact Melton Police Station on 97477903.

Kids will be back at school tomorrow after two weeks of holidays, so that means school speed zones will also be back.

Make sure you slow down when driving around schools to help keep everyone safe.

Remember, if roads outside schools are not permanent 40km/h zones, the speed limit will be reduced at drop-off and pick-up times based on the previous speed limit:
-Limits of less than 80km/h become 40km/h
-Limits of 80 km/h or more become 60km/h.

POLICE APPEAL FOR PUBLICS ASSISTANCE TO HELP LOCATE MISSING MAN

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a missing Brookfield man.

46-year-old Stephen was last seen leaving a Clarkes Road address around 2:00pm on March 28.

Police and Stephens family hold concerns for his welfare due to a medical condition that requires a carer.

He is described as being 182cms tall, of slim build with brown hair.

At the time of his disappearance he was last seen wearing a black polo shirt, a black hat, and blue jeans.

Police have released an image of Stephen in the hope that someone can provide information on his current whereabouts.

Anyone who sights Stephen is urged to contact Melton Police Station on (03) 9747 7999.
